The John Wilson Pattern 99 freestyle blade is a design catering to the explosive, high-power jumps by advanced skaters at the top levels of competition. The Pattern 99 uses shorter stanchions to put the skater closer to the ice to create a higher degree of control. It also happens to have been worn by skaters on the podium in more competitions than any other blade out there.`
